El Tropico Cuban Cuisine has friendly staff and an authentic coffee bar. I stopped in for a cafe con leche and met a movie producer while waiting for my order. He noticed I didn't want my gum anymore and remarked about it. For a friendly cup of coffee, and authentic Cuban food stop by. They do to go orders too!

I've been to this place a few times, and I've always enjoyed the food, especially their delicious Cuban flavors! The Cuban sandwich and churrasco are my favorites--so tasty! Plus, on weekends, they host karaoke and other fun events. The waitstaff here is super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better!

Randomly found this place while walking around the neighborhood because it is so conveniently located to the condo that we were staying at in the area. It does have a complete sit in restaurant part to it as well as a counter service with seats for the counter as well as the picture I took of the to go window. We stopped your simply to get a Cuban coffee and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The lady who was working here I think has been here for quite some time. She knew a lot of the people they knew her and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was very skilled to making the coffee. It was very quick and she was very nice and personable as well. Price is totally fair and decent considering the area and they even have high top tables on the outside where you can sit down I would definitely come back here again and actually try food if I had the opportunity however, on this particular day, we were out for a walk and checking out the neighborhood.

It's such an easy spot to stop in and eat. You don't need reservations, and they always are very welcoming. The staff are always super kind and helpful. I have never been disappointed with the food. I want to try the arroz con pollo one day, but they need a 60 minute heads up. It's a dish made for two people. Today, I had the Masitas de Puerco. It comes with two sides. I chose Moro and French Fries. I took half of my meal home since it was so big. For dessert, I had hot chocolate and Flan de Coco. The dining area inside is spacious and clean. The outside area sometimes attracts smokers. Just a heads up, they charge a convenience fee for paying the bill with a credit card.

This is a frequent stop every visit to N Miami!! Hubby gets the toasted Cuban bread and cafe and I get "a meal". The lechon (roasted pork) is seasoned perfectly, very tender, and served with grilled onions. It's heavily packed between the softest, toasted, Cuban bread. The tostones were perfectly crispy as requested. I couldn't get enough of the mojo (garlic sauce)!!! I ate it with the sandwich and the tostones. I had plenty of everything left over for a late night snack!! Thank you El Tropical for being consistent over the years.
